About Uttaranchal University
Uttaranchal University is recognized by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and by other statutory bodies. Promoted by the Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies & Research (registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860), the University has earned an "A+" Grade from NAAC—becoming the first university in Uttarakhand to achieve this in its first accreditation cycle, placing it among the top 5% HEIs in India. Committed to experiential and multidisciplinary learning, research, and innovation, the University also hosts an MSME-supported Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre and is recognized as a distinguished MSME Host Institution.
